Ramin sets his #LesMizBway departure date!

Our beloved 24601 Ramin Karimloo will give his final performance as Jean Valjean in Boublil and Schönberg’s Les Miserables Broadway Revival on August 30, 2015.

Today, Ramin and the cast/crew of Les Misérables - Broadway Revival celebrated at the Imperial Theatre their first anniversary on Broadway.

Les Mis opened on Broadway on March 23, 2014.

Ramin extends his run in Les Mis through the end of the summer!

Breaking News! Our favorite Jean Valjean will extend his run in Les Misérables Broadway through the end of the summer! 

Will Swenson (Javert) and Samantha Hill (Cosette) will continue in the show as well.

But Les Mis will welcome new cast members beginning March 3. Caissie Levy (Fantine), Andy Mientus (Marius), Cliff Saunders (Thénardier), Kyle Scatliffe (Enjolras), and Keala Settle (Madame Thénardier) will play their final performances on March 1. Joining the cast are Gavin Lee as Thénardier, Erika Henningsen as Fantine, Rachel Izen as Madame Thénardier, Brennyn Lark as Eponine, Chris McCarrell as Marius, and Wallace Smith as Enjolras.

Avid gym-goer Ramin Karimloo (along with Keala Settle, she wouldn’t leave after she shot her episode) was with Seth in studio for another go 'round of OBSESSED! Eight times a week, Karimloo handles the high notes of Les Miz's score with aplomb. Seth's theory — the highest notes are accompanied by lyrics that are easier on the voice, unlike the work of Andrew Lloyd Webber. Seth challenges Karimloo to some Cats, Sunset Boulevard and Phantom, replacing the original lyrics with some Les Miz for a bit less vocal stress. And Keala Settle doesn’t upstage or interlope at all. Nope. She's perfectly well behaved. "
